Kuerzlich hatte ich in meinem Blog geschrieben, dass man keine Paesse mehr via Post beantragen kann. Man muss jetzt persoehnlich zum Deutschen Generalkonsulat in Miami. In diesem Artikel hatte ich die Telefonnummer fuer Miami beigefuegt. Um auch Ihnen Zeit zu sparen und einen teuren Anruf - hier ist die Telefonnummer unter der sie einen Termin zur Passbeantragung vereinbaren koennen:

Recently I posted a Blog regarding German Passports. In that Blog I submitted the telefon number for the German Consulat in Miami. When you dial that number, you will click your way through various sets of answering machines to find out, that you can't schedule an appointment via this number. Original German Food

If you are in St. Petersburg, Treasure Island in particular, you should stop by a little place called "Cafe Berlin" on 107th Ave.  It is a small, family owned restaurant with teriffic food and even better prices. Everything is cooked from scratch and it tasts like the way my Mom would have cooked it. Maybe that's because the Owners and I are from the same town - Berlin. You could almost call it Soulfood. From Schnitzel, Rouladen, Sauerbraten, Bratwurst, to the unique Green Bean Salat you'll find everything you would expect in a Berlin Restaurant. On Saturday and Sunday nights, you can find me there - helping out an old friend - the owner. So, stopp by, enjoy the food, and if you are more than 3 people, I would recommend to make reservations, because we only have 3 tables that can seat more then 3 people - and they are going fast, especially during season.

Support the Animal Rescue!

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.  It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on the purple box "fund food for animals" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.  Here's the web site!   http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com 

Pass it on to people you know and keep supporting animals.
